Masalahnya, teknologi komputer kuantum yang cukup maju secara teori dapat melemahkan perlindungan kriptografi tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alternatif <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">post-quantum<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sebenarnya sudah tersedia.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Namun, skema tanda tangan yang telah distandarisasi National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) memiliki ukuran sekitar 38 hingga 123 kali lebih besar dibandingkan tanda tangan yang digunakan Bitcoin saat ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jika solusi berukuran sebesar itu diterapkan secara langsung, kapasitas transaksi Bitcoin berpotensi turun drastis, bahkan hingga di bawah satu transaksi per detik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Di sinilah SHRINCS mencoba menawarkan kompromi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ukuran tanda tangannya dapat dimulai dari sekitar 548 byte. Angka tersebut memang masih sekitar sembilan kali lebih besar dibandingkan Schnorr, tetapi jauh lebih ringkas dibandingkan sejumlah alternatif post-quantum lainnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SHRINCS juga memanfaatkan mekanisme SegWit yang menempatkan data tanda tangan di bagian <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">witness<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dengan struktur tersebut, dampaknya terhadap kapasitas jaringan dapat ditekan. Estimasi awal menunjukkan Bitcoin dengan SHRINCS masih dapat memproses sekitar tiga transaksi per detik, relatif mendekati kapasitas jaringan saat ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sudah_Diuji_Tapi_Keamanannya_Belum_Final\"><\/span><b>Sudah Diuji, Tapi Keamanannya Belum Final\u00a0<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SHRINCS bukan hanya proposal yang belum pernah digunakan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blockstream telah menguji skema tersebut dalam lingkungan produksi melalui Liquid, sidechain Bitcoin miliknya, sejak Maret 2026. Pengujian tersebut memberikan gambaran bagaimana teknologi ini dapat bekerja dalam kondisi nyata.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun, ada catatan penting: SHRINCS belum dapat dianggap sebagai solusi final untuk Bitcoin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dokumen BIP mengakui bahwa bukti keamanan kriptografis untuk skema tersebut masih belum selesai. Artinya, teknologi ini masih membutuhkan pengujian, audit, dan validasi lebih lanjut sebelum dapat dipertimbangkan untuk penggunaan yang lebih luas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SHRINCS juga menggunakan pendekatan stateful untuk menjaga ukuran tanda tangannya tetap relatif kecil. Sistem harus melacak kunci yang sudah digunakan, sehingga pengelolaan state pada perangkat pengguna menjadi bagian penting dari keamanannya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Konsekuensinya, tanda tangan dapat semakin besar seiring penggunaan. Kehilangan perangkat juga dapat membuat proses pemulihan membutuhkan transaksi cadangan berukuran sangat besar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dengan kata lain, SHRINCS mencoba mengurangi beban pada blockchain dengan memindahkan sebagian kompleksitas ke sisi pengguna. Kompromi inilah yang masih perlu diuji sebelum teknologi tersebut dapat dianggap matang.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tantangan_Berikutnya_Justru_Konsensus_Bitcoin\"><\/span><b>Tantangan Berikutnya Justru Konsensus Bitcoin\u00a0<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Masalah Bitcoin menghadapi era kuantum ternyata bukan hanya soal menemukan teknologi kriptografi yang tepat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setiap perubahan besar pada protokol Bitcoin membutuhkan dukungan luas dari berbagai pihak di dalam ekosistem, mulai dari developer, operator node, miner, perusahaan, hingga pengguna.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blockstream karena itu mencoba memisahkan proposal SHRINCS dari perdebatan lain seperti perubahan ukuran blok maupun penggunaan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">zero-knowledge proof<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Pendekatan tersebut dapat membuat komunitas lebih fokus mengevaluasi skema tanda tangannya terlebih dahulu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hal ini penting karena Bitcoin tidak memiliki satu pihak yang dapat memutuskan bahwa SHRINCS otomatis menjadi standar baru. Publikasi BIP baru menjadi salah satu tahap dalam proses panjang menuju kemungkinan implementasi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Menariknya, proposal ini juga datang dari Blockstream yang dipimpin Adam Back, sosok yang sebelumnya cukup skeptis bahwa ancaman komputer kuantum akan menjadi persoalan Bitcoin dalam waktu dekat. Namun, pendekatan yang kini diambil menunjukkan satu prinsip berbeda: ancamannya boleh jadi masih jauh, tetapi persiapan sebaiknya dimulai sebelum teknologi kuantum benar-benar mampu mengejar kriptografi Bitcoin.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_Belum_Kebal_Kuantum\"><\/span><b>Bitcoin Belum Kebal Kuantum\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Publikasi SHRINCS menjadi perkembangan penting, tetapi belum berarti Bitcoin sekarang sudah terlindungi dari komputer kuantum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proposal tersebut masih menghadapi dua ujian besar. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pertama adalah ujian teknis, termasuk penyelesaian bukti keamanan, audit, dan evaluasi risiko dari desain <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stateful<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Kedua adalah ujian konsensus, yakni apakah komunitas Bitcoin nantinya dapat menyepakati solusi post-quantum yang dianggap cukup aman dan efisien.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perdebatan tersebut kemungkinan semakin relevan apabila perkembangan komputer kuantum terus mendekati kemampuan yang dapat mengancam sistem kriptografi modern.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bagi Bitcoin, waktu justru menjadi salah satu keuntungan.
