Proses pengurangan itu dirancang berlangsung bertahap selama sekitar 18 bulan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain memangkas reward, proposal ini juga bertujuan mempercepat penurunan tingkat inflasi Ethereum. Menurut para pengusulnya, tanpa perubahan kebijakan, lebih dari 55% pasokan ETH berpotensi terkunci dalam staking pada 2028.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mereka menilai kondisi tersebut dapat membuat Ether kehilangan karakteristiknya sebagai aset yang netral karena semakin banyak aktivitas ekonomi bergantung pada produk <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">liquid staking <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maupun derivatif staking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dengan mengurangi penerbitan ETH baru, pertumbuhan pasokan diperkirakan menjadi lebih rendah dan lebih mudah diprediksi. Jika dikombinasikan dengan mekanisme pembakaran biaya transaksi melalui EIP-1559, pasokan ETH bahkan dinilai berpotensi lebih sering mengalami deflasi.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pendukung_Nilai_Tokenomics_Akan_Semakin_Kuat\"><\/span><b>Pendukung Nilai Tokenomics Akan Semakin Kuat<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kelompok pendukung proposal berpendapat bahwa Ethereum perlu mengendalikan inflasi sebelum staking tumbuh terlalu besar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Menurut mereka, <em>reward staking<\/em> yang relatif stabil membuat hampir seluruh pemilik ETH selalu memiliki insentif untuk melakukan staking. Akibatnya, semakin banyak pasokan yang terkunci sehingga konsentrasi kepemilikan berpotensi meningkat pada penyedia staking besar maupun kustodian institusional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membatasi reward dinilai dapat mengurangi tekanan dilusi terhadap pemegang ETH yang tidak ikut staking sekaligus memperkuat posisi Ether sebagai aset penyimpan nilai. Pandangan serupa juga pernah disampaikan oleh Head of Research Grayscale, Zach Pandl, yang menilai pembatasan insentif staking berpotensi memberikan dampak positif terhadap harga ETH dalam jangka panjang.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kritikus_Khawatir_Justru_Merugikan_Ethereum\"><\/span><b>Kritikus Khawatir Justru Merugikan Ethereum<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Di sisi lain, proposal tersebut menuai kritik dari sejumlah pelaku industri. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pendiri Aave, Stani Kulechov, menilai pengurangan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reward staking<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> justru dapat melemahkan permintaan institusional terhadap ETH.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Menurutnya, staking menjadi salah satu alasan utama perusahaan membeli Ether, sehingga penurunan imbal hasil dapat mengurangi minat tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kekhawatiran lain datang dari para operator validator independen. Mereka menilai validator individu memiliki biaya operasional lebih tinggi dibanding penyedia staking berskala besar. Ketika reward dipangkas, kelompok inilah yang diperkirakan paling terdampak.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CEO Ether.Fi Mike Silagadze bahkan memperingatkan bahwa kebijakan tersebut berpotensi mempercepat konsolidasi validator pada perusahaan-perusahaan besar yang memiliki biaya modal jauh lebih rendah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain substansi proposal, sebagian pengembang juga mempertanyakan proses pembahasannya. Draft EIP-8363 dipublikasikan hanya beberapa hari sebelum tenggat pengajuan proposal untuk upgrade Hegot\u00e1, sehingga dinilai belum memberi waktu yang cukup bagi komunitas untuk mengevaluasi dampaknya secara menyeluruh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meski demikian, proposal ini masih berada pada tahap awal. EIP-8363 belum disetujui maupun dijadwalkan menjadi bagian dari upgrade Hegot\u00e1.
