Banyak dari kasus penggunaan yang bersifat sangat umum dan beberapa di antaranya bahkan tidak merujuk pada e-HKD sama sekali. Sebagai contoh:<\/p>\n<p>> &#8220;Hang Seng Bank, Aptos Lab, dan Boston Consulting Group (BCG) akan menguji nilai komersial penyelesaian dana yang ditokenisasi menggunakan uang digital di\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nanovest.io\/en\/learn-crypto\/apa-itu-blockchain-dan-bagaimana-cara-kerjanya\/\">blockchain<\/a>\u00a0publik.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meskipun begitu, dalam pernyataannya, HKMA menekankan bahwa proyek ini akan &#8220;terus memajukan teknologi dan dasar hukum untuk mendukung potensi penerbitan e-HKD.&#8221; Kasus penggunaan lainnya cukup spesifik:<\/p>\n<p>> &#8220;Visa, ANZ, Fidelity, dan ChinaAMC akan mengeksplorasi penyelesaian hampir real-time untuk transfer antar bank dan pembayaran lintas batas, serta Delivery vs Payment (DvP), melalui e-HKD dan deposit yang ditokenisasi, yang memfasilitasi pembelian unit dana yang ditokenisasi oleh investor korporat berbasis di Australia yang ditawarkan oleh perusahaan manajemen aset di Hong Kong.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dua kasus penggunaan pemrograman melibatkan platform hadiah, termasuk platform hadiah lingkungan, sosial, dan tata kelola (ESG) yang sedang diteliti oleh DBS Bank Singapura.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) dan China Mobile (Hong Kong) akan melihat penggunaan e-HKD yang disimpan di kartu SIM ponsel untuk memungkinkan pembayaran dan transfer e-HKD secara offline.<\/p>\n<p><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kesibukan_HKMA\"><\/span><strong>Kesibukan HKMA<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Proyek digital Hong Kong dollar dimulai pada tahun 2021. HKMA mengumumkan fase kedua dari proyek e-HKD pada bulan Maret dan menerima aplikasi dari peserta potensial hingga bulan Mei.<\/p>\n<p>HKMA juga mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan membentuk Forum Industri e-HKD, di mana para peserta proyek dapat membahas isu-isu umum dan kelompok kerja dapat menangani topik-topik spesifik.
