Teknologi ini dapat <strong>meningkatkan efisiensi dan memperkenalkan alat keuangan baru bagi institusi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Meski telah merilis kerangka kerja potensial, <strong>Bank of Israel menegaskan bahwa pembahasan ini masih dalam tahap eksplorasi<\/strong> dan desain yang diusulkan masih bersifat <strong>preliminer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sejarah_Eksplorasi_Digital_Shekel\"><\/span><strong>Sejarah Eksplorasi Digital Shekel<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Bank of Israel pertama kali mulai mengeksplorasi kemungkinan penerbitan <strong>digital shekel pada 2017<\/strong>, dengan membentuk tim riset khusus untuk menilai kelayakannya.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, laporan pada <strong>2018<\/strong> menyarankan <strong>agar penerbitan CBDC tidak dilakukan dalam waktu dekat<\/strong>, dengan alasan <strong>kesiapan teknologi dan stabilitas keuangan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Seiring meningkatnya adopsi mata uang digital global, bank kembali mengkaji inisiatif ini pada <strong>2021<\/strong>, dengan <strong>meluncurkan konsultasi publik<\/strong> serta <strong>uji coba teknis<\/strong>.
