Pernyataan hati-hati dari Ketua Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, terkait prospek ekonomi AS juga mengecewakan pelaku pasar.<\/p>\n<p>Harga emas spot, yang sebelumnya sudah turun lebih dari 1% sebelum pertemuan The Fed, kembali merosot usai pernyataan Powell. Bank sentral Tiongkok diketahui menambah cadangan emas untuk bulan keenam berturut-turut pada April lalu.<\/p>\n<p>> \u201cSaya pikir penurunan harga emas kali ini lebih karena membaiknya hubungan dagang antara Tiongkok dan AS. Sementara pengumuman The Fed sendiri cenderung netral, tidak ada kejutan dari apa yang disampaikan Powell,\u201d kata Daniel Pavilonis, analis senior di RJO Futures.<\/p>\n<p>Menteri Keuangan AS, Scott Bessent, dan negosiator utama perdagangan, Jamieson Greer, dijadwalkan bertemu dengan kepala ekonomi Tiongkok, He Lifeng, di Swiss akhir pekan ini yang dilihat sebagai langkah potensial menuju perbaikan hubungan dagang kedua negara.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, harga logam mulia lainnya juga mengalami penurunan.
